Announcement of the Change in Timeline for
Business Alliance with Hitachi Capital

Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. (TSE: 9086) (President and CEO: Yasuo Nakatani; “Hitachi Transport System”) and Hitachi Capital Corporation (TSE: 8586) (President and CEO: Seiji Kawabe; “Hitachi Capital”) hereby announce that we have changed the date of conclusion of the business alliance agreement, which was originally scheduled for late June in the “Announcement of Basic Agreement on Business Alliance to Realize New Innovation through ‘Finance, Commerce, Logistics, and Information,’” released on March 30, 2018. Details of the change are as follows.

*Due to the change in scheduled date of the business alliance agreement, the date of transferring shares of Hitachi Auto Service Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Transport System, has also been changed as described above.

Further announcement will be made promptly if it becomes clear that the business alliance will have a material impact on consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019 of each company.
